What is the GymMonkeys Program?
The goal of the GymMonkeys Program is to provide a focused and accelerated gymnastics experience for children who show an elevated interest in the sport of gymnastics starting at the age of three. We are also looking for students that are focused and have a knack for following directions!
What makes GymMonkeys unique?
GymMonkeys meets 2 times a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Each day the children participate in a 60 minute gymnastics class where we will focus on proper technique, strength building and flexibility while keeping the class age appropriate and fun. The program also provides playtime with weekly themes led by our staff. This experience gives an opportunity for the gymnasts to develop friendships with peers and a strong bond with the staff.
The GymMonkeys Program has been developed by Jessie Carlson and Susan Valko. Ms. Susan leads the gymnastics class and playtime.
What does the commitment to GymMonkeys entail?
We are looking for GymMonkeys to join us for the 2017-2018 school year. This program closely follows the MMSD school year calendar.
