Jessie Carlson
Jessie is the owner of Badger Gymnastics Academy. Jessie’s family has very close ties to BGA; her father, Joel Alberti, was the first full time employee hired and the original Program Director. Jessie “grew up” at the gym – first as a student, and then eventually teaching and coaching various levels of students over the years. When she was younger, Jessie was on the BGA competitive team, and she went on to compete on the LaFollette High School gymnastics team. Jessie not only has a strong background in gymnastics, but at one point in her career served as the Assistant Coach of the UW-Madison Cheerleading Squad.
You’ll see Jessie at BGA all the time, plus her own kids are students at the gym as well!
Lauren Stocker
Lauren has been at BGA since 1994! Gymnastics has been a part of her life since she was 6 years old. After training as a gymnast herself, Lauren teaches a wide range of ages at BGA from the pre-schoolers through grade school ages, plus adults. And, you will even see Lauren’s own daughters out on the floor!
Tom Nikl
Tom’s love of gymnastics began at the young age of 5, and he continued to compete through his teens and was a member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison gymnastics team. Tom then served as an assistant coach for UW-Madison for four years. In 1977, Tom became the co-owner- accountant, and head coach of the girl’s team at BGA. Today, Tom continues to coach the girls’ team and plays a vital role in the success of the business.
Ashley Myers
Ashley started gymnastics when she was about nine years old – and has been doing it ever since!
A competitive gymnast, she competed on her high school team all four years, and then went to college at UW-Madison. Upon graduation in 2007, Ashley came to Badger Gymnastics Academy and became a part of the Badger family. Ashley enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for gymnastics with kids of all ages, and she teaches the girls’ general class, preschoolers, and you’ll see her there for many birthday parties and open gyms!
Megan Pringle
Megan is BGA’s Level 5
coach, and has an extensive background in gymnastics. She started in the sport at age three, and went on to compete in club meets up to Level 8. Megan was a varsity member of her High School team for four years, and also was a four-year member of her high school’s diving team. She also attended UW-Stevens Point and was a four-year member of the diving team during college.
